About me

My interest in psychology began through my personal experience with therapy. In a time of uncertainty and searching, it was through the psychotherapeutic process that I came to understand how change can happen when there is a safe, empathetic and transformative space.

This experience reinforced my desire to help others who feel lost, stuck, anxious, confused or trapped in personal and relational patterns that cause suffering. I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Lisbon, where I completed a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, specializing in Cognitive-Behavioural and Integrative Clinical Psychology.

I particularly identify with the integrative approach as it respects human complexity and adapts therapy to each person’s unique needs and rhythm.

I believe that mind and body are deeply connected. Often, the body expresses what we have not yet been able to put into words.

In the therapeutic relationship, I aim to provide a safe space where you feel supported and understood. Within this relational comfort, we can explore experiences and patterns, understanding them to build meaningful change.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
EFT: Emotionally focused therapyRecommended for couples or individuals who want to strengthen emotional connections in relationships by exploring feelings and attachment.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.

I aim to create a safe, collaborative therapeutic space that respects each person’s own pace.

In therapy, it is not always necessary to know exactly how you feel or to be able to explain everything clearly. Often, we begin precisely with feelings of confusion, blockage, anxiety, or difficulty in understanding what is happening internally.

Throughout the process, we explore emotional and relational patterns, past experiences and coping mechanisms that may continue to influence how you feel, think and relate to others in the present.

I believe that change happens when there is space to understand your experience with greater clarity, to develop new ways of relating to yourself and to feel supported in this process.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s needs, combining different therapeutic models with a focus on a safe, humane and emotionally attentive therapeutic relationship.
