I hold a Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology with a specialization in Integrative Cognitive-Behavioral Clinical Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Lisbon. I work in Lisbon at BombardaExpress and in Abrantes at Nexus by António’s Saúde (Professional License nº 134111), providing psychotherapy, individual psychological support, and psychological assessment using an integrative approach. I have additional professional training in Clinical Sexology, focused on the continuum from normative to pathological behavior (2023), and I continue to deepen my knowledge in the areas of sexuality and emotional processing through approaches such as EFT and AEDP. Since 2024, I have also been a volunteer with the Portuguese Foundation "The Community Against AIDS," participating in the National Peer Education Project (PNEP) with 7th to 9th grade students.
My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral foundations while incorporating elements from other evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I work with adolescents and adults facing moments of transition, anxiety, sadness, relational difficulties, or uncertainty about life decisions. I also have specialized training in sexuality, which allows me to work comfortably with themes such as sexual identity, orientation, intimacy, and sexual difficulties. I believe in the importance of emotional processing and self-awareness as central elements of change, and I tailor each therapeutic process to foster a sense of agency, clarity, and personal growth.
