About me
I'm a psychologist from Portugal and I work both with children/adolescents and adults. I'm very interested in human behavior and in how I can use my knowledge from different areas of Psychology to improve people's lives and promote their self-knowledge and resilience.
I started my professional path as an intern in the field of Neurodevelopmental Disorders and kept acquiring experience in this field. I've worked in multiple settings (e.g. neurodevelopment centers, private practice, schools) and then started to also develop an interest in Clinical Psychology, studying more and specializing more in helping people in more emotional and self-development matters.
Now, I work as a wellness coach in a corporate setting, providing services for a Fortune 500 client and also provide support to children/teenagers and adults in private practice, both face to face and online around the world.

Approach
I would say that my base approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the first place, combined with an holistic approach. My goal is to understand the person I have with me and use the tools available in them and in their context to overcome their difficulties.
On a more personal level, I am an empathetic person, committed to my work but also to my family and friends, looking to always keep on improving herself. I love to travel and meet new cultures and contexts, which is why I also love to receive clients from abroad, and most of all, I enjoy being around the ones that I love and being able to help people through my work.
