I am currently working as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS settings, supporting clients who experience difficulties with emotional regulation, relationship challenges, unhelpful patterns, and trauma-related symptoms. My work focuses on helping individuals understand the factors contributing to their difficulties, identify patterns that may be maintaining distress, and develop more effective ways of responding to emotional and interpersonal challenges. I draw on psychological formulation to make sense of complex presentations and guide therapeutic direction.
During my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I gained experience across a range of NHS placements, working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and individuals with learning disabilities. This allowed me to develop a flexible, lifespan-informed approach to psychological care across diverse settings
Prior to training, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist across community and inpatient mental health services, supporting people in moments of significant distress and emotional difficulty. Much of this work involved sitting with people during periods of crisis, uncertainty, and overwhelm, and helping them find a bit more steadiness as things felt difficult to hold.
Alongside this, I volunteered with Victim Support, offering emotional listening and practical support to people affected by crime. This often meant being alongside individuals in the immediate aftermath of upsetting or life-altering experiences, when
