About me

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in High-Intensity CBT from the University of Birmingham. I work with adults and couples experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological therapies and neuroscience, and is always tailored to each person’s unique experiences, goals, and pace. Alongside CBT, I integrate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness, positive psychology, and relationship-focused work. This allows me to offer both practical tools for managing symptoms and deeper support for long-standing patterns, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. My style is warm, structured, and collaborative, helping clients feel supported while also gaining clarity and direction. My journey into therapy was shaped by my own transformative experience with it, which gave me a deep respect for the courage it takes to seek help. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in law, business, software development, and the charity sector. These experiences help me connect with people from a wide range of professional, cultural, and personal backgrounds, and to understand the pressures of modern life. I work internationally, supporting clients across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I offer therapy in English and Arabic, with conversational German. Whether you are seeking individual therapy or couples work, I provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space to explore difficulties and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I usually respond promptly to enquiries and am happy to answer questions before you decide whether to book.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
CoachingRecommended for those who want support and motivation to achieve personal or professional goals, often with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
I see therapy as a collaborative and structured process in which we work together to understand what is maintaining your difficulties and how to create meaningful change. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and practical, combining High-Intensity CBT with ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and coaching-informed methods. Some sessions focus on developing concrete skills to manage anxiety, low mood, intrusive thoughts, or emotional regulation. Others may explore deeper patterns related to self-esteem, relationships, trauma, or life transitions. I take a holistic view of the person, recognising the close connection between mind, body, emotions, and life context. Having worked with clients from different cultures and countries, I am sensitive to the impact of identity, migration, and cultural background on mental health. Whether working with individuals or couples, my aim is to help you feel understood, less overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotions, and more confident in navigating relationships, work, and daily life. The goal is not only symptom relief, but building resilience, clarity, and psychological flexibility that continue long after therapy ends.
