I am highly passionate about my job, and I enjoy supporting vulnerable individuals to reach their full potential in life.
In 2018-2019 I have worked for Upbeat Communities with female refugees/asylum seekers that suffered brain injury, had undergone domestic violence and neglect, as well as chronic sexual abuse that resulted in serious suicidal ideation. I managed also to successfully support female survivors of domestic violence.
For the years 2020-2022 I have delivered one to one dance movement psychotherapy sessions, mixed with a lot of trauma informed and psychoeducation elements, to children and youth residents of Pathways Residential ways Residential Care. I have worked with cases of gang crime, addiction from drug use/ drug induced psychosis, grooming and sexual abuse, schizophrenia onset, PTSD, severe neglect and ASD/developmental delay.
In 2021 I worked for Richmond Fellowship, delivering CBT mental health recovery support sessions to adults that are in the spiral of mental health crisis as well as constructing safety plans to help them cope with everyday life stressors effectively. I also offered my freelance services for more than a year to UK Therapy Guide Platform, providing therapy to individuals that suffered from panic attacks, anxiety, historic rape trauma, ASD traits and employment issues, as well as couples dealing with the impact of infidelity, cultural conflicts, communication and attachment difficulties.
In 2022 I moved to London and I started working for BANG edutainment charity, supporting teenagers survivors or war and trauma, gypsy travellers and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds and abusive family circles, utilising art and creative methods of work in psychotherapy.
I am currently working as a Counsellor in Kingston College in London, helping students that face a range of mental health difficulties, family issues, self harm and suicidal ideation, but also those that are involved in criminal activities of an kind.
