About me

I am a Jungian Analyst and psychotherapist, and I am also trained in Internal Family Systems. South African born, I live and work in London where I have been working in private practise for the last 7 years.

I work with a range of issues including depression, abuse, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, anxiety, eating disorders. I am fascinated by the multiplicity of the personality, and passionately believe that working with complexes (or parts of the personality) can enable self-healing and wholeness. Having practised yoga religiously for 30 years, I have a profound personal experience of the psyche-soma connection and view it to be of vital significance to the work that I facilitate with clients.

I am a member of the Guild of Analytical Psychologists, a London-based Jungian training organisation. I teach on the Foundation and Diploma courses, alongside my clinical work.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Dream analysisDream analysis is the interpretation of dreams to explore their underlying meanings.
Jungian therapyRecommended for those interested in diving deep into their unconscious mind to better understand themselves and grow emotionally.

Trained in classical Jungian analysis, I take a teleological approach to the psyche, and fundamentally believe in the capacity of the human psyche to heal if given the support and opportunity to do so. I have been particularly influenced by Internal Family Systems, a modality that is non-pathologising, and enables both therapist and client to access the depths of psyche with curiosity, compassion and creativity, beyond the limitations of ego and intellect. In essence, the work that I do is embodied and soulful. My consulting room is a level playing field. I meet each person that I work with with equanimity and a deep respect for their decision and courage to face inwards and commit to a process of healing, change and growth.
