I’m an inter-cultural, remote Psychotherapist that considers myself a global citizen living a location independent lifestyle.
Although I grew up in Spain, I have a strong connection with big city London culture, where I lived, studied and worked for more than 26 years. I can then conduct therapy sessions fluently in English and Spanish. This cross-culture experience gives me first-hand knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of life on the move and between two or more countries.
Among my patients, are people with permanent residence in the UK or other parts of the world. I also frequently work with digital nomads, who need a flexible approach to access Psychotherapy from anywhere in the world.
I have over 13 years of experience working as a therapist in Central London and my private practice moved entirely online in response to the global pandemic. Over the years in London, I have gained experience working in different organizations, including helping minority ethnic groups and the LGBTQI+ community on the NHS.
I also became a Certified Cyber Therapist by the Online Therapy Institute, which means I am fully trained to conduct psychotherapy sessions online ethically and responsibly.
Psychotherapy is a process of facilitating psychological change for people who, for some reason, cannot do it by themselves at a particular time of their lives.
During the initial meetings, I would like to understand what is becoming unmanageable for you and have the opportunity to get to know you a little bit. As well as your presenting difficulty, do not shy away from sharing other aspects of your life, including your current and or past experiences, significant relationships you had in the past, what you like, your interests, and your aspirations. My aim is to provide you with a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported and understood.
Although I am humanistic and work integratively, I have a particular interest In Attachment Studies, which means I can help you gain a sophisticated understanding of your own attachment style, which I view as a vital component to help you improve your relationship with yourself and others.
