As an experienced BACP and UKCP accredited psychotherapist, my practice is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of intersectionality & the relational, emotional, and cultural contexts that shape our lived experience
I am an experienced BACP and UKCP accredited psychotherapist and my aim is to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is collaborative and attuned to your unique needs as we explore what lies beneath the surface—the emotions, patterns, and past experiences that may be shaping your present. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a key element of the process and invite you to consider new perspectives and ways of being by creating space for inner experience. This process supports you in trusting your own inner guidance, fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance—essential elements for growth and transformative healing.
My experience, commitment to empowering others, and ability to empathise and think creatively—while maintaining self-awareness and collaboration—enable me to attune to your needs with openness and a non-judgemental stance. With a background in both the creative and financial industries, I bring an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by individuals working in those fields. My experience in the entertainment industry in particular —where storytelling illuminates the human condition—has deepened my understanding of the conflicts and shadow aspects we all face, as well as our profound capacity for transformation.
I remain committed to ongoing clinical development, staying closely informed by current research and contemporary therapeutic practice
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from multiple schools of psychotherapy to help you identify your core emotional challenges and support your emotional growth and therapeutic goals. I frequently integrate Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). This approach distils the most effective elements of psychodynamic therapy into a more targeted strategy to promote transformation. It emphasises our conscious and unconscious interactions with ourselves and others, with an emphasis on the experiential—because just talking about things is not enough: there must be a deeper embodiment of change that comes through the felt experience of change, rather than insight alone. This is a relatively directive approach, which means the therapist does not take a passive role but is actively engaged and works alongside you to deepen emotional processing in a safe and supportive way. Alongside AEDP, I also draw from other modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), which provides a framework for working with distinct inner “parts” of ourselves so that we can develop integration and self-compassion; Sensorimotor and body-based practices; ACT and Mindfulness-based approaches; Gestalt chair work; and experiential inquiry, which invite us into present-moment awareness. My approach is tailor-made for each client as I tune into your unique lived experience.
