About me
During more than 15 years of professional practice in Italy, Switzerland and Ireland I have acquired extensive experience in counseling as a clinical psychologist (since 2002) and subsequently as a specialist in analytical psychology and psychotherapy (since 2010). Since 2000 I have also acquired further experience as psychologist working in different institutions dealing with a variety of different issues, from addition (drugs, gambling) to problematic adolescents, from pain management in terminally ill people to anxiety treatment. • Worked as a member of multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, liaising and co-ordinating with other professional staff • Contributed to the care of patients as required and documenting progress • Consultancy with patients of a problematic nature i.e. psychosomatic issues (cancer, trauma and cardiac patients, fibromyalgia) and / or psychiatric issues. • Encouraged and motivated young people with behavioral problems. • Organised one to one educational and motivational sessions with my clients. • Individual and group based psychotherapeutic interventions to individuals addiction clients to enable them to line healthy drug free lives • Provided assessment and therapeutic services to adults who has psychological distress (i.e. integrations problems, mourning) and affective or depressive syndrome.
