About me

After several years of living, researching and teaching in mainly London and Jerusalem, I moved to Germany and graduated in Gestalt Therapy at the internationally recognised Hamburg Institute for Gestalt oriented Training (HIGW). I attended further training in Integrative Trauma Therapy at the Munich Institute for Trauma Therapy (MITT) and also in Gestalt Dance Therapy on the basis of Anna Halprin's life/art process (touching ground Berlin). I am training therapist and trainer at the HIGW and member of the editorial board of the German-speaking journal Gestalttherapie – Forum für Gestaltperspektiven . I offer Gestalt therapy and counseling for individuals, couples and groups in German and English, and bilingually (German-English) in the context of couples therapy. Next to my practice, I worked as gestalt therapist in social psychiatry for several years. As a trauma therapist, I offer my services also to the Network for Traumatised Refugees in Lower Saxony (NTFN), based in Lüneburg.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
Group therapyRecommended for those who want to work through their challenges in a supportive group setting and learn from others who share similar experiences.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Gestalt Therapy represents an internationally recognised approach within Humanistic Psychotherapy. Gestalt Therapy explores the diversity of human beings and their uniqueness within the context of their relationships and social environment. Gestalt Therapy supports personal change and development. New Perspectives Sometimes in life, our ability to deal with certain situations can be impaired, causing us to stagnate in certain patterns or programs of behaviour. In Gestalt Therapy, we reflect or mirror the client’s current life situation in order to understand the whole spectrum of related life experiences that the client has had, paying attention to the social dimension of these experiences. This process aims to understand what has come to a standstill in the client’s life, and to bring it into motion once again.
