I graduated with a master's degree in Neuropsychology, and I have a strong interest in psychology as well as various social sciences. I believe we live in a complex and often maladaptive system today, and our best approach is to learn how to manage the consequences of our past experiences in order to improve our present.
I primarily adhere to a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework while integrating elements from other therapeutic modalities. Extensive research indicates that a skilled therapist's effectiveness stems not only from their chosen approach but also from critical factors such as the strength of the therapeutic alliance and the quality of communication with clients. A strong therapeutic alliance fosters trust and collaboration, enabling clients to feel safe and supported as they navigate their challenges, while effective communication ensures that both therapist and client are aligned in their goals and strategies. Hence, there will be days where we will implement plans and strategies to improve one's condition, and other days where we will focus more on just talk-therapy.
