I am a Maltese Gestalt Therapist currently residing in Luxembourg. I am fascinated by human psychology, development, well-being and behaviour. Change and adaptation, belongingness and meaning; and coping with difficult emotional states, such as loneliness, anxiety, stress and grief, are all themes that interest me.
My work experience covers the education, family and social fields, where I have worked with both adults and minors, on an individual basis as well as in subsystems and groups, across a variety of settings. I have experienced a range of roles and responsibilities within these areas, and this has helped me gain a wide and enriching perspective of what it means to be human and live life. Fifteen years' work experience as a psychotherapist, both in independent practice, as well as within an agency, have taught me that we are all unique within the universality that connects us. Everyone has a story! I feel honoured to listen to and witness people's journeys.
Passionate about travel, writing, culture, nature and movement, I enjoy exploring, learning and adventure. I strive to challenge myself to diversify my experience and fulfil my potential.
As a Gestalt Therapist my focus is present-oriented, holistic and creative. As the therapeutic relationship is built, I provide a safe, confidential space for clients to become aware of their processes, understand who they are, how they came to be as they are, and practise experimenting with changing the aspects of their thinking or behaviour that no longer work for them. I use an integrative, experiential approach with a focus on empowerment.
