Born in Luxembourg to French and Italian parents, I have a rich multicultural background that deeply informs my counselling practice. I completed the first year of my bachelor's degree in psychology in Metz, France, where I was introduced to foundational psychological theories and practices. I then pursued the remaining three years of my undergraduate studies at the University of Luxembourg, a trilingual program taught in German, French, and English. This program provided me with a solid scientific base in psychology, covering key areas such as empirical research methods, psychological assessment, and intervention techniques.
Building upon this foundation, I obtained a Master of Science in Psychology, specializing in Psychological Intervention, from the University of Luxembourg. This program offered comprehensive training in various domains of applied psychology, including:
Clinical Psychology: Focused on mental disorders in both adults and children, encompassing interviewing and intervention techniques. Health Psychology: Emphasized theoretical aspects of health promotion and risk assessment, along with methods to evaluate psychological and biological indicators relevant to health. Applied Psychology: Covered areas such as media psychology, cultural psychology, and school psychology. The curriculum combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience, including a three-month internship and lab work, allowing me to apply learned concepts in real-world settings.
With a keen interest in cultural dynamics, I am particularly attuned to the psychological impact of multicultural experiences and identity. I strive to create a safe, understanding space where individuals can navigate personal and cultural challenges, fostering resilience and self-growth.
As a counsellor, I take an integrative and client-centered approach, tailoring my methods to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. My practice is rooted in evidence-based techniques, primarily drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, both of which help clients develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and challenges. My sessions are collaborative, meaning that we work together to identify goals and strategies that align with your personal values and strengths. I guide clients in understanding thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses, helping them gain insight and build resilience.
Being French-Italian and born in Luxembourg, I am particularly sensitive to the impact of cultural identity and life transitions. I incorporate elements of cultural psychology in my work, acknowledging how diverse backgrounds and experiences shape emotions, relationships, and mental well-being.
My goal is to empower clients to navigate stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. Whether you’re facing personal struggles, life transitions, or simply seeking clarity, I strive to offer support that fosters growth, balance, and long-term well-being.
