I am a trained Group Analyst and Psychologist, member of UKCP. I have been working in private practice and the NHS in England since 2013. I have also worked in various mental health settings in Greece between 2001 to 2011. I studied Psychology in Athens and I completed my training on Group Analysis. I also did a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling at the University of Oxford. I trained in Mentalization Based Treatment at the Anna Freud Centre and I also completed my training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy. I have a vast experience of working with adults with mental health issues. I have worked many years with patients who have a diagnosis of Personality Disorder and I am also an experienced psychotherapy assessor. I have provided supervision to trainees on Group Analysis. My approach is synthetic and I always try to understand the needs of my patients and use different aspects form various models of therapy. I have a special interest in the dialogue between psychotherapy and spirituality as well as in nature therapy approaches.
We are all social beings and therefore I believe that most of our difficulties can be worked through by looking at relationships and the way we engage with other people that affects the relationship with ourselves. Psychotherapy, of group or individual form, is a very interesting journey between people and every treatment is a unique story.
