I work with the parts of sexuality that are often kept private. Pornography use, increased or difficult sexual behavior, fetishes, as well as disconnection or uncertainty in one’s sexuality.

My work is grounded in a background in psychology and further training in sex and couples therapy. I focus on topics such as pornography use, increased sexual behavior, fetishes and the complexity of human sexuality, especially in situations where people feel confused, stuck or unsure about their own needs and experiences. My work is about opening up space for these conversations in a way that feels safe, honest and without judgment. Not to label or pathologize, but to understand what is actually going on beneath the surface. Because most of the time, it is not about the behavior itself. It is about needs, patterns and ways of coping that deserve to be seen. With me, there is space to talk about things that feel uncomfortable, confusing or even hard to admit. And to explore them in a way that feels respectful and safe. I see sexuality as something deeply individual, shaped by personal experiences, needs and contexts. At the same time, it is often judged, categorized or reduced from the outside. I believe that this can make it harder for people to stay connected to their own sexuality and to understand what it actually means for them. Everyone deserves the space to explore their sexuality and to understand it on their own terms, in a way that is respectful and responsible.
I see sexuality as a space that can be shaped, developed and expanded over time. Many people experience this space as limited, as if there was only one way to act, one pattern or one possible way of being. In my work, I focus on opening up new options and creating new ways of living your sexuality. It is about expanding this space, adding to it and making it possible to experience sexuality in a broader and more self-determined way. I work with the individual questions, goals and perspectives my clients bring with them. My role is not to define a direction, but to support this process, to explore together what is already there and to open up new possibilities. A central part of this is creating a space where sexuality can be experienced without shame. Sometimes things about ourselves do not seem to make sense. But when we start to explore and understand them, something different can emerge.
I have worked in different contexts supporting people in challenging life situations. My experience includes working with individuals affected by addiction, crisis and social hardship, as well as accompanying people in psychological questions related to relationships and sexuality, including in voluntary settings. I have also designed and facilitated workshops on topics such as personal boundaries, relationships and sexuality.
I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Psychology. My Master’s thesis focused on compulsive sexual behavior, a concept closely related to patterns such as excessive pornography use and loss of control in sexual behavior. I completed further training in systemic couples therapy at the Institute for Systemic Therapy in Heidelberg, where I also trained in systemic sex therapy. In addition, I regularly attend workshops and further education on topics related to sexuality, fetishes and human sexual behavior.
