I'm passionate about helping people grow and thrive by working through trauma, grief and loss, managing conflict, improving communication, and achieving identified goals.
I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2011, and since then have undergone continued training specializing in trauma informed approaches, and conflict resolution. I operate from a trauma informed perspective– recognizing that many people have had, or currently experience trauma. I understand the need for emotional safety and trustworthiness in a therapist, and work with clients to regain a sense of empowerment in their lives. My preferred treatment modality is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Gottman Method, through which I help with individuals and couples stop fighting against the pain of their past, navigate conflict management, and build a rich and meaningful life.
