I am a dedicated and compassionate counsellor committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, respect, and evidence-based strategies. I am registered as an Australian Counselling Association (ACA) counsellor.
I have worked in school settings, community services, and telehealth, supporting clients with a variety of concerns including stress, relationship difficulties, family issues, self-confidence, mental health, and wellbeing. I understand the importance of listening deeply and walking alongside people at their own pace, providing guidance when needed and space when necessary. I value trust, collaboration, and the therapeutic relationship as key elements in fostering positive change. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their strengths and equip them with practical tools to manage emotional distress, build resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth.
My work is guided by professional integrity, cultural sensitivity, and an ongoing commitment to reflective practice and learning. I am also able to achieve this through consistent Supervision as well.
My approach is client-centred and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
For me, my client comes first. I tailor my approach based on their needs and heavily rely on an Eclectic Approach.
I have a strong foundation in cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions. I have particular interest in working with young people, and I value the opportunity to advocate for mental health and emotional wellbeing in both individual and group settings.
