In my role as a couples therapist, I understand diversity and ambivalence as an unchangeable and important part of the human experience. I take great pleasure in illuminating and bringing together different perspectives.
After completing my studies in clinical psychology in Berlin, I did my doctorate in Zurich on the development of premature babies and got to know and appreciate working with families and couples in stressful situations. At the same time, I completed a two-year training course in couples therapy at the University of Zurich. A few years ago, I returned to Berlin with my family. I currently work in an outpatient psychotherapy practice in Berlin and as a freelance couples therapist in my own practice.
In my work, I do not position myself as a judge, nor do I assume that there is a single, universal truth. I work on an equal footing with my clients, bringing my professional expertise into the process without offering predefined solutions. Over the course of our collaboration, I become an expert in your specific situation together with you. On this basis, we jointly develop meaningful perspectives and workable ways forward that are appropriate to your relationship and life context.
