I was formally trained as a medical doctor at Westhill University in Mexico City and have conducted neurodevelopment research for the University of Texas at Austin. I have also coordinated oncology research for low- and middle-income countries for St. Jude Global at St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.
As a clinician, I approach mental health from the nutritional science and natural medicine perspective with the objective of providing safe and effective options to those who struggle with anxiety, stress and depression in addition to their therapy of choice.
I work with an open, non-judgmental, patient-centred therapeutic style. By addressing key nutritional deficiencies and the gut-brain connection, my approach supports lasting emotional well-being.
Most of my patients address specific issues with their psychotherapist which allows for an integral approach, others prefer to work first on their brain nutrition. In both cases, individual needs and patient preferences are the most important.
