I’m Federico Rossi, a clinical psychologist, counselor, and integrated ACT therapist with a psychodynamic orientation—but above all, I’m a deeply sensitive person on a journey.
Throughout my life, I’ve moved through many forms: from actor to therapist, from son to man, from someone who once sought refuge in others to someone learning to feel at home within. I know firsthand what it means to navigate loneliness, the hunger for love, the fear of not being enough, and the deep desire to be truly seen. These experiences have shaped my belief that healing begins in the presence of another—and that growth unfolds through safe, attuned connection.
I support individuals who want to make sense of their inner world—those seeking a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, OCD, identity-related challenges, or difficult relationship dynamics. I also offer support around professional wellbeing and have specialized training in psycho-oncology and chronic pain.
My approach blends psychodynamic depth with the flexibility of third-wave CBT models like ACT, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness. I also incorporate EMDR, hypnotherapy, and elements of positive psychology—always with care, curiosity, and respect for your rhythm. Some journeys are brief. Others unfold more slowly. Therapy with me is never one-size-fits-all.
As a highly sensitive person myself, I offer a special space for other HSPs—where sensitivity is not pathologized but welcomed as a powerful way of relating to the world.
I see imagination as a bridge between the visible and the unseen—a way to listen to what’s unspoken, and give voice to the parts of us that long to be integrated. I don’t promise instant solutions. But I do offer presence, honesty, and a gaze that honors your complexity. I work in both Italian and English, online and in person in Milan.
When you're ready, I’m here.
