During my training in social psychology, I completed internships in complex contexts such as detention and immigration. I work in schools as a support teacher and I am continuing my training in Gestalt psychotherapy, with a focus on relationships and shared growth.
Gestalt psychotherapy is an approach that places the person’s present experience at the center, in the “here and now.” It recognizes the dignity of the individual and their capacity for self-regulation. It values creative adjustment, that is, the strategies developed to cope with the environment. Through awareness of emotions, the body, and thoughts, it supports new possibilities for choice. The therapeutic relationship is authentic and oriented toward growth and integration.
