If you're new to therapy, you might feel unsure of where to start. That's okay. I'll meet you wherever you are - with no judgement, no pressure, and no expectation that you need to have it all figured out. I bring calm, steady presence to my sessions, and work to create an environment where you can take a deep breath, show up as your full self, and feel supported.
Clients often describe me as warm, direct, intuitive, and deeply attentive. I value transparency and emotional safety, and I believe that therapy should feel both grounding and expansive. I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. I take time to listen deeply to your story and help uncover what's important to you.
This is a space for you. We move at your pace, focus on what matters to you, and work toward changes that feel meaningful, realistic and sustainable.
Our work starts with understanding what's bringing you in - what's feeling hard, heavy, or unclear in your life right now. In our first few sessions, I'll ask questions to help us map out what you're experiencing emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically. From there, we co-create goals, identify patterns of stressors, and begin exploring tools, insights, or perspectives that support your growth.
I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy. That means I pull from different evidenced-based modalities depending on what's most helpful for you. Whether we're focusing on emotion regulation, building self-trust, or processing deeper experiences, I keep your voice and values at the center of our work.
My process is collaborative and responsive. Therapy with me is not about fixing you - it's about understanding you, holding space for your pain, and helping you build the life you want to live.
