Hello and welcome to my profile, My name is Katarina, besides that I am psychoterapist I am also pedagogue, daughter, sister, partner, friend. Being psychoterapist and work with people and be able to participate in their development is one of reasons why I am here. I was born in Novi Sad, Serbia where I live now. I lived in Poland, Hungary and Sweden so I had chance to be familiar with different cultures, people, languages and come to conclusion that people have authentic needs that can be recognised in psychotherapy. I am learning spanish. Also my hobies are cycling, reading books, hiking.
A change in one member of the family affects the other members, and therefore there is a change in the entire family system. Approaching in this way, family therapy takes into account the context in which the individual and the family live, at the level of larger systems such as the extended family, social community, culture, nation, as well as at the level of subsystems such as parental, partner, sibling ( brothers and sisters). Family therapy does not consider that individual is a problem or that the problem is in individual, but the problem is in relationships, relations and interactions that achives in family.
