About me

My name is Sandra (1985). I was born in former Yugoslavia and grew up in the Netherlands. Early in life, I learned what it means to be on the move — to find your way in a place that does not automatically feel like your own. This experience has shaped me and nurtured my desire to create spaces where people can feel seen, safe, and free to explore their own path.

From my own journey, I know that it is not always about fitting into a format or fixing what seems broken. It is about finding space for who you truly are, and about navigating the balance between staying true to yourself and feeling connected to others. In that process, the presence of another matters deeply — not to solve, but simply to be there. I believe that each person carries an inherent capacity for healing, when met with genuine presence, safety, and connection.

Outside of my work, I am someone who feels at home in movement — in nature, in travel, in art, and in meaningful encounters. Walking and being on the road often bring me back to simplicity and presence. These experiences continue to shape how I meet others: with openness, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique path.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
EFT: Emotionally focused therapyRecommended for couples or individuals who want to strengthen emotional connections in relationships by exploring feelings and attachment.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Psychotherapy Recommended for those who want to work through emotional or mental health challenges by talking with a trained psychotherapist.

My work is rooted in a client-centred, experiential, and existential approach. Rather than following fixed protocols, I attune to what is present in the moment and to what unfolds between us. I see the therapeutic relationship as the foundation from which meaningful movement and change can emerge.

In our work together, I invite you to slow down and reconnect with your inner experience — your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. Not to analyse or fix, but to listen more closely to what is asking for attention. We move at a pace that feels right for you, allowing space for what is there, even when it feels unclear or uncomfortable.

I do not see therapy as a process of becoming someone else, but as a way of coming closer to who you already are. My role is to offer presence, openness, and a safe relational space in which you can explore, make sense of your experiences, and gradually find your own direction from within.
