I'm a multifaceted creature who doesn’t like to limit myself to labels, I love exploring life and all its wonders; art, nature, humans, animals, and I practice yoga and dance.
I'm very passionate about my work as a psychologist, sexologist and somatic practitioner - and I am deeply committed to support your personal growth and autonomy, helping you clarify your values in order to live a fuller and more authentic life.
I have compassion and ease with your process, as I myself have my own journey. I think we should honor our own pace and rhythm throughout our lifelong discovery of ourselves. Therefore I do not force what is not ready to appear, but I will participate and facilitate in your learning process so you don’t have to feel so alone in it.
My training started in 2015 at the Institute for Clinical Sexology and Therapy in Oslo, and I've been running my own practice since 2018. I work with people who struggle with relationships, sexuality, self worth, body image, sexual- and gender identity. I also work with anxiety, depression, and burnout recovery.
I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) where we explore attachment patterns and unhelpful ways of handling conflict to rebuild trust and intimacy. I also offer couples support through a separation process or help navigating alternative relationship styles.
Trained at the Norwegian Character Analytic Institute (NKI), a body-oriented and relational psychotherapy approach based on neuropsychological and developmental research. It emphasizes the non-verbal dynamics of human connection, and works through experiential processes.
I love to offer tailor made sessions with yoga therapy, such as guided meditation and body scanning. I've further specialized in somatic sexology through the Institute of Somatic Sexology in Australia; a synthesis of traditions such as yoga, meditation and tantra, integrated with neuroscience, psychology and somatic learning theory. This is especially beneficial if you you'd like to explore your sexuality, work through trauma or shame, towards more joy and pleasure in you body and relationships - "Simply create a blissipline".
Currently offering psychotherapy in combination with psychoactive medication in collaboration with the Axon clinic in Oslo, and offer integration session both online or irl.
My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodivergent affirming. I welcome all genders and relationship constellations. I strive to remain mindful of my own privileges and the ways they might effect our work together. I acknowledge systemic oppression, power imbalances and the need for an intersectional approach, acknowledging both the individual and the collective. I hope you feel safe enough to address any of the above together with me.
