I’m a Registered Psychotherapist who was born in Canada, raised in the Middle East, and later returned to Canada in my youth. Having lived between two worlds, I deeply understand the challenges of navigating multiple cultures and identities — the feelings of not fully belonging, the stress, and the inner conflict that can arise. My own journey taught me how difficult, yet transformative, the path of self-acceptance and personal growth can be.
Through these experiences, I’ve come to believe that even through life’s toughest moments — the times we feel lost, hopeless, or unsure — there’s always the possibility to rise stronger, wiser, and more resilient. My hope as a therapist is to be a GuideLight for those who can’t yet see the light at the end of the tunnel, walking alongside them with empathy and support. You don’t have to go through it alone — reaching out for help is a deeply human act, and healing often begins with that first step.
