About me

I am a licensed psychologist registered with the Italian professional board, with a background in Developmental and Educational Psychology. My academic training at the University of Padua, combined with international experience in Canada, has shaped a broad and culturally sensitive perspective on psychological well-being across the lifespan.

Throughout my professional journey, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing emotional, relational, and developmental challenges. My experience includes supporting individuals with anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD and autism spectrum conditions. These experiences have strengthened my ability to tailor interventions to each person’s unique needs.

I offer therapy in both Italian and English and value working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I believe that psychological support should be a space of safety, clarity, and growth — where individuals feel genuinely understood and empowered to build meaningful and lasting change.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Art therapyRecommended for those who feel more comfortable expressing emotions through creativity and want to explore their feelings through art rather than talking.
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and humanistic principles. I draw from CBT to help clients identify and restructure maladaptive thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and address behavioral cycles that maintain emotional distress.

Mindfulness practices are integrated to enhance emotional regulation, increase present-moment awareness, and reduce reactivity to difficult thoughts and feelings. I support clients in cultivating a more compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with their internal experiences.

At the same time, my work is grounded in a humanistic perspective, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that meaningful change occurs within a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients feel understood and empowered to explore their values, strengths, and personal growth.

Each therapeutic path is tailored to the individual, with clear goals, structured interventions when appropriate, and flexibility to adapt to the client’s evolving needs.
