Sylvie understands how daily stressors, anxiety, and depression can impact your life. She focuses on equipping individuals with practical tools to better relate to themselves and others.
Life has guided me to being a therapist. I started out in the corporate finance world and then taught in a private school setting for more than a decade as my children grew up. Throughout life's challenges, therapy had provided such support and guidance for me that I wanted to grant that same gift to others who were struggling. My business experience, as well as working with children, parents, and couples in the school setting, has been a great help in working with families. In my sessions, you can expect a thorough exploration of behavior and thought patterns and structured guidance on how to replace patterns that no longer suit you, with beneficial ones.
I shape work around everyday pressures, translating overwhelming feelings into manageable steps and clearer connections. From my base in Europe online, with sessions offered in English and German, I keep a steady, paced rhythm that balances focused exploration with small experiments you try between meetings. We use mindfulness-based practices, targeted reflection, and practical skill-building to notice patterns, shift reactions, and strengthen relationships and self-trust. Those juggling anxiety, mood shifts, trauma or relationship strain often find this grounded, collaborative way of working helpful.
