I am a French-American bilingual mental health counselor based in Paris, offering individual therapy in both English and French. My work is psychodynamically informed, with an emphasis on developing emotional insight.
I hold a BA in Psychology from The American University of Paris and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, alongside several years of specialized postgraduate study and clinical training in clinical psychology and psychoanalysis at Sigmund Freud University Paris.
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space in which clients can speak openly and freely about what is on their mind. In our sessions, nothing is “too small” or unimportant to explore. Together, we may look at present difficulties as well as past experiences, recurring patterns in relationships, internal conflicts, and emotions that may be difficult to understand or put into words.
My approach is exploratory rather than prescriptive. Rather than focusing solely on reducing symptoms, I work with clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and of the ways in which their past and present experiences may be connected. The aim is to foster greater emotional clarity, self-understanding and freedom in how they relate to themselves and others.
