As a dedicated clinical psychologist and registered psychotherapist, my approach integrates psychoanalytical, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral therapies to meet the unique needs and expectations of each client. I aim to help address all types of mental representations, specializing in complex trauma, severe mental health issues, and questions regarding identity.
My professional journey includes providing therapeutic services in diverse settings such as private practice, collaborative mental health organizations, and psychiatric hospitals. I am passionate about making mental health care accessible and have actively contributing to initiatives like "METU against Suicide" and "Association of 17th of May for LGBTI+ Mental Health."
In addition to my clinical practice, I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary research, particularly in the areas of gender representation, discrimination, psycho-politics, and popular culture. My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and an ongoing MSc in Philosophy, equipping me with a nuanced understanding of psychological and philosophical perspectives.
I strive to provide a safe, understanding, and supportive environment for my clients, helping them navigate their mental health with care and depth.
I utilize psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches, with an aim to assist clients finding answers to their questions, thoughts and actions, helping them understand themselves better. I also utilize CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) to adress specific experiences of the clients.
