About me

I am a qualified Educational Psychologist, registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). My journey into psychology began as a teacher, but it became deeply personal when I sought to understand my eldest child, who is neurodiverse. As a mother of three spirited children, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of navigating neurodiversity, which fuels my passion for supporting families and individuals in similar situations.

I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. My work focuses on empowering children, adults, and parents through comprehensive psychological assessments, tailored intervention strategies, and compassionate guidance.

Currently, I run a successful online practice, providing remote psychological services to individuals and families. Living in Mauritius, I balance my professional career with family life, and I understand the importance of creating realistic, practical solutions that support both individuals and their loved ones. My approach is evidence-based, empathetic, and rooted in real-world experience, ensuring that those I work with feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Narrative therapyRecommended for those who want to rewrite the way they view their life story and feel more empowered in their personal journey.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Systemic approachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.

My approach to psychology is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply empathetic. I believe that every individual—whether a child, adult, or parent—deserves to feel understood, empowered, and supported in their unique journey. My work is client-centered, meaning I tailor each assessment and intervention to the specific needs of the individual and their family.

As an Educational Psychologist specializing in neurodiversity, I focus on identifying and celebrating strengths while providing practical, evidence-based strategies to address challenges. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, concerns, and aspirations.
