I have a Bachelors in Psychology, Honors in Psychology, B.Psych. Equivalence in Counselling, B.Psych. Equivalence in Psychometry, Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and a Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology. I am currently completing accreditation as a Pluralistic Psychotherapist. I use and take inspiration from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Approach, Psychodynamics, Client Centred Approach, Narrative Therapy and Integrative/Eccletic Approaches with an emphasis on short and long term intervention and clinical referral when needed.
My approach is pluralistic, meaning that I make use of a large pool of psychotherapeutic modalities and related techniqes that is driven by client preference, worldview and collaboration. My primary models could be said to be Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered approaches. I make use of Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Personology, Mindfulness CBT, and I provide options for an extensive use of psychometric testing.
