About me

I specialize in working with adults and young adults navigating the long-term impact of emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, or controlling family dynamics. Many of the people I work with experience chronic shame, emotional numbness, trust issues, or confusion in relationships. Some have been labeled with terms like codependent, borderline, or incel, labels that describe pain but often fail to offer a way forward.

Alongside clinical work, I teach psychology and statistics at the university level. My teaching informs my clinical work and vice versa, as both depend on clarity, attention, empathy, and deep respect for complexity (both emotional and psychological). You don’t need a diagnosis to begin. Just a willingness to be honest about what hurts and what keeps repeating.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.
Trauma informed careRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.

My therapeutic work is structured and depth-oriented. I draw from schema therapy, psychodynamic principles, and attachment theory to help clients understand how protective patterns formed and how they continue to shape thoughts, relationships, and self-perception.

Sessions are conversational, focused, and paced to match your readiness. I don’t aim to fix you. I work with you to make meaning of your experience, identify what’s no longer working, and support the kind of change that emerges from clarity, not pressure. Therapy isn’t about performance for me, it’s about having a space where you can stop performing.

Experience

I have over two years of experience working as a psychologist in private practice, offering individual therapy to adults and young adults. My clinical focus includes chronic shame, emotional numbness, BPD, identity confusion, and the long-term effects of narcissistic abuse and relational trauma.

In addition to my therapy work, I teach psychology and statistics at the university level. This academic background supports my commitment to clarity, structure, and a practice grounded in both clinical insight and critical reflection.

I work in English and Italian, and see clients online across multiple countries.
