Hello! I'm Tatyana Ermoshina, a psychologist and gestalt therapist. I was born and raised in Russia. Currently, I live in Uruguay with my husband and daughter, and I'm enjoying this country.
I have been working in the field of psychology since 2008. I started my career at a state psychological center, providing assistance to families facing difficult life situations. Since 2015, I have had my own private psychological practice. I have worked with children and adolescents, provided counseling on infertility and adoption. I also led childbirth preparation courses and a school for adoptive parents based on the American "Pride" program.
However, I felt that I lacked the knowledge and skills needed for deeper work with clients. That's when I found a method that, in my opinion, heals the soul - the gestalt approach. I tested it on myself, and then decided to pursue formal training. From 2017 to 2021, I studied gestalt therapy at the Moscow Gestalt Institute according to the standards of the European Association for Gestalt Therapists. And now I am pleased with the arsenal of methods and techniques that I possess.
The gestalt approach became my primary tool because, through my own experience, I felt its ability to heal pain and it aligns with my humanistic values of freedom and choice. I resonate with the idea of the wholeness of the human experience. As a therapist, my main goal is to help people find integrity and harmony in their lives, resolve inner conflicts, and achieve self-understanding. I use various methods and techniques to assist clients in recognizing their needs, desires, and fears, and finding ways to express and satisfy them.
I enjoy what I do, and I feel gratified when clients choose me to accompany them on their journey of self-discovery and growth. I respect our collaborative path in therapy.
