About me

I hold a five-year degree in Psychology from PUC-Rio, Brazil, and I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology. I also hold a postgraduate specialization in Jungian Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Intercultural Psychology at Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, France. My professional path combines clinical practice, research, and international experience, shaping a culturally sensitive approach to psychotherapy.

Since 2020, I have provided individual psychotherapy for adolescents (15+) and adults. I offer therapy in Portuguese and English, and I also speak French. My clinical practice welcomes people from diverse cultural backgrounds, relationship structures, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQIA+ clients and those in non-monogamous/poly relationships. I also have a particular interest in supporting people navigating migration, expatriation, and multicultural experiences as well as those experiencing grief, bereavement and end-of-life concerns. My interest in grief was further developed through my undergraduate research on Shakespeare's Hamlet and the psychological experience of loss.

Alongside my clinical work, I am passionate about making psychology more accessible beyond the consulting room. In Brazil, I co-created a psychology podcast dedicated to making psychological knowledge accessible to a broader audience. I remain committed to continuous learning through supervision, academic research, and personal analysis.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
Dream analysisDream analysis is the interpretation of dreams to explore their underlying meanings.
Jungian therapyRecommended for those interested in diving deep into their unconscious mind to better understand themselves and grow emotionally.

My work is grounded in Jungian Psychology while remaining in dialogue with contemporary perspectives on mental health. I understand psychological suffering as something that cannot be separated from the cultural, social, and historical contexts in which we live. Alongside our personal histories, I believe it is essential to consider how systems such as patriarchy, racism, colonialism, and capitalism shape our experiences, relationships, and sense of self.

My practice is informed by feminist and intercultural perspectives, and I value a collaborative therapeutic relationship where curiosity takes precedence over judgment and each person's experience is approached with openness, complexity, and respect. Dreams, symbols, and imagination are welcomed as meaningful expressions of the unconscious, alongside everyday experiences and relationships. I see psychotherapy as a space to explore what makes each life story unique.
