About me

Welcome to my profile! Here’s a brief introduction to give you a better understanding of who I am, what I do, and how I work. My name is Bianca de Haas, psychosocial therapist for both individuals and companies, specialized in building mental resilience and effective communication. Before we start strengthening the mental resilience, we'll thoroughly investigate the root of the complaints, define our course and destination, (re)connect to the inner motivation, and build a sense of teamwork together. Expect to be heard, seen, and accepted just as you are. Using a broad variety of exercises and scientifically proven methods, you can rest assured I’ll equip you with all the tools you need to grow. Of course, you will have to do the hard work yourself—a shortcut to real growth simply doesn’t exist. I’m here to support you, acting as your personal trainer, motivator, and reflective companion along the way. Practical information All sessions are conducted online, ensuring you receive the support you need, wherever you might be. To suit diverse schedules, I offer flexible availability from Monday to Saturday. Moreover, clients gain exclusive access to my online ACT program, featuring a rich collection of over 180 exercises rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. How many sessions do I need? As each individual is unique, it's challenging to determine an exact number of sessions needed. However, to thoroughly assess the current situation, establish a course of action, and address all pillars of ACT, I typically recommend a minimum of 6-8 sessions. Can I use my insurance? I'm a licensed psychosocial therapist in the Netherlands. Contact your insurance to see what's covered.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CoachingRecommended for those who want support and motivation to achieve personal or professional goals, often with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
The sessions are dynamic and besides talking, we DO a lot. The exercises are based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is the latest form of cognitive behavioral therapy. ACT emphasizes developing skills in six pillars in order to enhance mental resilience: -Acceptance -Defusion -Self-as-Context -Values -Connection with the present moment -Commitment Action Feel free to request a complimentary 30-minute introductory video consultation to get acquainted. During this session, we'll briefly discuss your current situation and goals, introduce you to ACT, and estimate the number of sessions required. If it's a good fit, we'll set up your program and begin promptly so you can gradually integrate ACT into your daily life. That’s what I call Clever ACTive ;-) How colleagues describe me as a therapist: Compassionate - Straightforward - Humorous. Registrations: Nederlandse Federatie Gezondheidszorg (NFG) Languages offered: Dutch, English (& soon Spanish) Hope to see you soon, you're worth it.
