I am Elisavet Mourey, a Mental Health Counselor with an academic background in psychology and ongoing training in psychotherapy. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Northumbria University and I am currently training in a four-year Existential Psychotherapy program at Gignesthai. Alongside my academic and professional path, long-term personal psychotherapy with a psychoanalytic approach has been an essential part of my own journey. The combination of my academic background, ongoing training, and personal experience continues to shape the way I understand human experience and relationships.
My approach is influenced by existential philosophy, with an emphasis on each person’s uniqueness, freedom, responsibility, and search for meaning. I am particularly interested in the ways people relate to themselves, navigate uncertainty, and try to make sense of their lives.
At this stage, I offer supportive and exploratory sessions, creating a safe space where you can speak openly and focus on what truly matters to you. My role is not to diagnose or treat, but to accompany you in exploring your thoughts, experiences, and perspectives with honesty, attentiveness, and curiosity.
Our work together is a collaborative process, grounded in open dialogue, mutual respect, and attention to what emerges in the present moment. We move at your own pace, without judgment or predetermined interpretations, allowing space for new insights and deeper understanding to unfold.
Sometimes, the first step is simply recognizing that you may want to talk to someone. If that thought has crossed your mind, then perhaps something within you is already beginning to move and that in itself matters.
If you feel that this approach resonates with you, you are welcome to get in touch with me.
