After completing my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2024, I chose to continue my career as a psychologist here in the Netherlands. During my internship at Universitätsklinikum Tübingen, I gained valuable experience in psycho-oncology, which deepened my understanding of somatization, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I have experience supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, burn-out, and somatic symptom disorders, such as fibromyalgia. As someone in my twenties, I can especially relate to clients navigating similar life stages—whether it's uncertainty around career choices, academic stress, or relationship difficulties. With trauma treatment I use EMDR and NET based on client's needs.
I bring empathy, creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to my work, and I am genuinely passionate about understanding people. I’d be happy to offer a free introductory session where we can get to know each other and explore whether my therapeutic approach might be a good fit for your needs.
I work mainly though CBT by frequently incorporating mindfulness, ACT, motivational interviewing, and somatization techniques. Moreover, I am getting trained in EMDR, which is a strong empirically proven approach to treat mental health challenges from trauma to somatic disorders.
I work in a warm, flexible, and client-centered way, shaping therapy around who you are—your background, your context, and what you need in the moment. I know that these needs can shift over time, and I try to stay responsive to that.
Building a strong, trusting relationship is central to my work. I’m actively involved in sessions, offering both support and gentle, respectful challenge when it helps you move forward.
While I draw on structured, evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, I use them flexibly and adapt our work to what feels most important for you, while keeping your overall goals in mind.
