About me

I’m Greta, a psychologist originally from Lithuania, currently living in The Netherlands. Living abroad has shaped both my personal and professional life, giving me an understanding of the opportunities (and challenges) that come with making significant life changes.

I work with people who feel anxious, lost, or stuck. If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, overthinking, low self-esteem or feeling disconnected, I can help you understand yourself better and take practical steps towards a change.

I also offer psychological consultations to those who struggle with dating patterns and want to build secure, healthy relationships.

I offer private, non-insured psychological support. My work does not include formal diagnosis or clinical treatment, and is best suited for people seeking insight, emotional support, and personal growth rather than specialized or crisis mental healthcare.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Netherlands, where my research focused on what makes therapy effective. One of the most consistent findings is that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client plays a central role in meaningful change. Because of this, I place strong emphasis on building a genuine, trusting connection. I also believe that sharing certain values, such as open-mindedness, kindness and empathy, can help create a space where real progress becomes possible.

In my work, I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported and respected. To me, psychological support is not only about individual change, but also about fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, so you can take better care of yourself and those around you. My approach is informed by CBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy, incorporating elements and techniques from each.

Experience

In 2017–2018 I was working as a coach for children, supporting them in strengthening their cognitive skills and building confidence. This experience sparked my interest in psychology, which eventually became my career path.

In 2025, I worked as a psychologist in training at the international mental health clinic Kuhler & Partners in the Netherlands, where I gained experience in both therapy and psychodiagnostic assessments. My work included supporting clients with depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD and personality-related difficulties. I obtained the LOGO‑verklaring certificate which demonstrates training and experience in clinical diagnostics.

Currently, I focus on individual consultations as a psychologist and I volunteer with an organisation in Rotterdam supporting young people facing mental health challenges.

I'm registered at Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen, NIP number: 246835.

I also engage in continuing professional development through trainings, seminars and supervision.
