About me

My name is Hui Ting. I am an Asian Chinese psychotherapist based in Singapore and serving international clients. My clients have come from Singapore, China, India, Poland and more. Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
I support my clients in listening to their problems, engaging them in deeper discussions so that they can find the insight to their problems through our discussions in the therapy sessions. In every session, I ask my clients what they hope to achieve and that ensures that the session serves their needs. For example, someone coming to me with relationship anxiety will discuss with me the source of that stress and leaves the session with actionable tips on managing stressors (short-term goal) and start to think what they would like in a future partner (long-term goal).
