About me

Hi. My name is Evgeni (he/him) and I am a licensed psychoanalyst and group analyst in private practice. I offer psychoanalytical psychotherapy in-office or via video.

I work with youths or adults to help them overcome inner criticism, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, social or relationship struggles, as well as those seeking to heal from harmful childhood experiences.

In my work as a psychotherapist, I see myself as a compassionate guide and collaborator on your journey toward self-discovery and healing. Together, we explore the experiences and inner narratives that have shaped your life, seeking deeper understanding and new perspectives. Through this process, we address feelings of confusion, guilt, or shame, and work to free you from patterns or situations that feel stuck or overwhelming. While I bring professional expertise to our work, I deeply value and rely on your unique insights, intuition, and reflections. Our alliance is built on mutual trust, curiosity, and the shared goal of fostering growth and empowerment.

In terms of theoretical approaches, my work has been influenced by classical psychoanalysis, as well as psychodrama.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
PsychodramaRecommended for those who want to use role-playing and dramatization to work through emotions and past experiences in a creative way.

As a convinced psychoanalyst and group analyst, in the psychotherapeutic process, I follow the lines of Sigmund Freud, Melanie Klein, Wilfred Bion, Jacob Moreno and many others who paved the way to a better understanding of the psyche.
