About me

I’ve always been curious about people -- what shapes us, how we relate, and how we make sense of our lives. I grew up in Canada and moved to back to Bulgaria as an adult to reconnect with my roots. Over the years, I’ve moved around a lot, and each move has opened me up to seeing the world from new perspectives. It’s taught me to deeply value diversity and to welcome people exactly as they are.

My path into therapy grew out of my own search for wholeness. For a long time, I tried to find belonging by adapting to my surroundings. Eventually, I realised that freedom isn’t about control, but about taking responsibility for myself and trusting others to do the same. When I stopped trying to shape life into what I thought it should be, I began to meet myself more honestly and with more compassion.

This experience continues to shape how I see people and why I do this work. I believe we all carry the capacity for awareness, connection, and change and sometimes we just need a space where all parts of us can be seen. My hope is that a session with me can be that kind of space: grounded, accepting, and real.

Outside of my work, I find inspiration in nature, movement, and creativity and I bring these influences into my sessions too. They remind me that healing isn’t solely about understanding or fixing ourselves, but about involving every aspect of who we are — mind, body, emotion, and imagination — in the process.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the idea that healing isn’t about fixing yourself, but about reconnecting with parts of you that may have been lost, silenced, or pushed aside. I work with people who are feeling anxious, low, stuck, unsure of themselves, or struggling in relationships—often during times of change, transition, or uncertainty.

I’m especially drawn to working with expats, third-culture individuals, and people navigating questions of identity, belonging, and where they fit. Living between cultures or moving through major life transitions can bring up disconnection, self-doubt, and a sense of being “in between,” and therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of that experience.

I offer a non-judgmental, collaborative space where we explore patterns, habits, and ways of relating at a pace that feels right for you. My style is gentle but honest, supportive while also challenging you when it feels helpful. I often work with what’s happening in the body, emotions, and present moment, using creativity and curiosity to support awareness and change.

Therapy with me is a space to reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with what feels true for you now—so you can move toward a life that feels more grounded, alive, and aligned.
