I am a psychologist and a gestalt therapist. I started my own practice as a therapist and a counsellor four years ago, but my career started 17 years ago in the field of aviation. I work online and in person with people who want to develop the understanding of themselves and their lives. The topics around this might be different but the center is - inner world of my clients. I have an aviation engineer background, i am also a Human Factors instructor, and mainly a human. In this long process and shift between my background and my new passion I understood that i have searched "knowing how" question in the wrong place. Being a therapist gave me meaning about "knowing how" in a very beautiful and profound for me way. I am really interested in human nature and exploring it deeper is very transforming for me. Being a therapist is giving me a meaningful and enriching perspective of life. www.inatoneva.bg/en
My approach is centered around the main need of the client. The therapeutic process is nondirective, non-judgmental and supportive. I am working with different clients in different stages of their life. In my practice i work with different topics related to questions close to : Who am I? What is my need? What do i feel? Where do i stand in my life? What brought me in my current situation? What are my mechanisms and models? Do i need all them now? I work in both short term and long-term therapy depending on the needs of the client. I prefer the focus of the therapy to be on the question of 'how' rather than 'why.' This approach allows for a more holistic and authentic way of being present. It gives me and my clients the chance to be who I am, not who I am expected to be. The beauty of gestalt and life is connected to humanity, and there is no greater act of humanity than being there for another person who needs support.
