I am licensed clinical psychologist based in Vermont, USA, and have been practicing psychotherapy since 2015. I am a strong believer in the human potential for love, connection, and the capacity for growth. . I work well helpingto develop a sense of purpose, and self worth. I also work with anxiety about current events and how the larger world impacts our personal lives and creates trauma. I strive to facilitate self-awareness that will allow my clients to navigate an uncertain world from a place of strength and confidence. Through a therapeutic partnership, I can help you change negative patterns, heal pain, improve relationships, and find purpose. Our work together will facilitate self-empowerment, self-love, inner peace and well being. I believe we all crave deep, authentic connections, but throughout our lives have developed negative patterns and defenses that make this difficult, keeping us isolated and stuck. I believe these patterns are rooted in early relationships and experiences, and as a psychotherapist, my job is to develop a safe and authentic relationship with my client.
My first commitment as a therapist is to meet the patient where they are, see hear, and value them, and take a humanistic stance of respect and unconditional positive regard. I believe that talk therapy facilitates self understanding and self awareness that leads to more empowered life. Additionally, I am a strong believer that we are all burdened by conditioned patterns developed in response to adverse circumstances and messages that make being our best selves difficult at times. I help you understand and dismantle these patterns, to become the person you truly want to be, and have the life you want to have.
