About me

I am a psychologist, NIP-registered in the Netherlands, with an MSc in Clinical Psychology and a professional licence from the General Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare in Greece.

Originally from Greece and currently living in the Netherlands, my life's journey has given me a unique perspective on the complexities of life transitions. Growing up in a dynamic and highly mobile family environment, characterised by frequent relocations and adaptability to novel circumstances, has significantly influenced my worldview and professional approach. I bring this understanding into my practice with curiosity, cultural awareness, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

My professional background includes training and experience in a psychiatric setting, where I gained exposure to a wide range of mental health presentations and multidisciplinary care. In addition, I have served in the army both as a soldier and as a psychologist, a role that deepened my understanding of stress, responsibility, hierarchy, and the psychological impact of demanding environments. My time in learning support provision within international special and mainstream education settings further gave me first-hand insight into neurodivergence, developmental differences, and the pressures international families face as they adjust to new environments. These roles have strengthened my ability to remain grounded in complex situations, to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and to approach psychological distress with both empathy and practical clarity.

I specialise in helping individuals navigate constant change, identity shifts, and the inherent stresses of dynamic lifestyles. At the core of my practice is a commitment to providing empathic and personalised support. I aim to help clients build resilience, adapt through uncertainty, and reconnect with a clear sense of self amidst significant transitions. Together, we can embark on a journey that embraces your challenges, deepens your self-awareness, and nurtures your growth.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.
Solution-focused therapyRecommended for those who want quick, practical solutions to their problems without focusing too much time on the past.

Following a person-centered and integrative approach, I am dedicated to tailoring sessions to the needs and goals of each individual I work with. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process, one where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you make sense of what is going on in your life.

My work is primarily grounded in Schema Therapy, which looks at the deep-rooted patterns we develop early in life and how they continue to shape the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. Alongside this, I draw on cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based techniques to build an approach that fits you specifically, rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Central to my work is a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, prioritising safety, choice, and shared participation, which allows us to explore experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

If you are curious to see whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to book a free 20-minute consultation.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
