About me

Hi. I am a psychologist registered with the Nederlands Institute of Psychologists. I hold a MSc in Clinical Psychology, and I am an integrative psychotherapist i.t. My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ friendly. Please send me a message to schedule a 20 minute free consultation or ask any questions! Thanks for being here. Having always been a deeply empathic person and drawn to supporting others, I believe that mental health is key to reaching our full potential. My journey began in a small town in Transylvania, Romania, and brought me to the Netherlands, where I have experienced the challenges and rewards of navigating expat life and cultural differences while trying to find and build meaning. I studied and built a practice in the Netherlands in the last 6 years, and continue to study and learn every day with my clients and colleagues. As an English and Romanian-speaking psychologist, I've connected with people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and all walks of life, which has deepened my wisdom, openness and adaptability. Throughout it all, my own mental health journey has shown me the power of deep connection with myself and the therapeutic process.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
EMDRRecommended for those dealing with trauma who want to process painful memories in a structured way to reduce their emotional impact.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.
Hi. Welcome here. Every human life carries complexity. When we experience trauma, hurt, or unmet needs, we often learn to adapt in the only ways available to us. We may hide parts of ourselves that once felt unacceptable and develop protective parts that shield us from further pain. Some of these parts carry our wounds through anxiety, depression, perfectionism, overcontrol, people-pleasing, shame or emotional withdrawal. And sometimes what once helped us survive can later feel limiting or exhausting. Therapy can be a curious, respectful and non-judgmental place to bring clarity and compassion to these parts of you, understand their message, and reconnect with the more spontaneous and authentic parts of yourself. With me, building trust is the first step to our work together. I meet you where you are with curiosity, warmth, and patience. I am on your side and by your side to help you understand yourself, what is needed and important for your life now, and to support you with personalized interventions in moving beyond patterns that are no longer helpful towards more integrity, self-respect, joy, or what is needed to feel like yourself. Whether you are facing long-standing difficulties or navigating a challenging period, your needs deserve to be seen, understood, and supported. My practice is safe space for everyone, including LGBTQ+ individuals. I use an evidence-based approach, and pay attention to the mind, body, and emotions. Starting therapy, we work in a structured way: - Short consultation to see if we are a good fit - Intake session - Clinical questionnaires to measure symptoms/the issue you want to work on - I write a treatment plan - You write some treatment goals for yourself - First session - Periodic evaluations to measure symptoms again, see where we are and what is working/not working - Come to a natural end and take some sessions to reflect and intergrate our work I work in an integrative and collaborative way. I use different therapeutic methods depending on what best fits your needs in the moment, drawing from CBT, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and EMDR. Depending on what you wish to bring in therapy, we can take an integrative approach or settle together on one modality which is most suitable for you. I also offer ADHD coaching. ADHD coaching helps you better understand how your brain works and build practical strategies for focus, time management, organization, and follow-through. It’s a collaborative process that supports you in setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and creating structure that works for you. ___ Group Sessions in the Hague: Innsaei is a schema-informed therapeutic group in The Hague, NL.
