My name is Nota Voura and I am a Clinical Psychologist and International Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association. Although now my basis is in Greece, I have studied in the USA from where I got the basic knowledge to become a Psychologist. There were many other trainings and studies after that, like the MSc in Social Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry, Judicial - forensic psychology certification, etc.
Through my 20 plus years career I had the chance to apply and enrich those knowledge. I have worked with clinical population, kids and adolescents as well as adults, people who just wanted some counselling to improve their living, and people facing more complex difficulties and problems (from dealing with anxiety, panic attacks to people with more severe mental health problems).
In short, I consider myself to be: a Clinical Psychologist with background studying client behavior and brain function. Sophisticated professional with experience applying wide-ranging knowledge base to accurately diagnose and treat patients' disorders. Demonstrated knowledge of multicultural aspects of psychology and how cultural differences impact screenings and responses. Attentive listener with awareness and proficiency in application of relevant laws to dispute details. Enthusiastic training specialist successful at developing training plans and supplementary materials to help students excel. Works under strict deadlines and makes independent judgments about effectiveness of training. Comfortable with remote training technology and methodologies.
My goal to be achieved is to help every person needing to feel valued, empowered and worthy.
I can facilitate sessions fluently both in English and in Greek.
