I am a trained Person Centred Counsellor who has been based in Cornwall for 20 years. I developed a love for counselling in 2009 and have since trained in many areas including self harm, suicide and Autism/ADHD to name a few.
I am a professional practitioner who really thrives from helping others in difficult situations. I have trained over the last 15 years in many areas and so that has opened up many opportunities for me.
I have a supportive family and friends circle where I have been able to move forward in many ways during my chosen career. I have been fortunate in my move to Cornwall and feel it is a haven to explore who I am as an individual.
I have studied and completed all of my training in the UK over the space of 15 years. I have moved between two different careers and have found that they both benefit me in many ways, I am able to use my skillset with clients everyday.
I am Person Centred but believe clients benefit when therapy is combined and so I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy into my sessions with tools and techniques for the client to use. This enables both me and the client to explore further.
I believe that the client is the best expert on themselves and so I offer a non judgemental and non directive form of therapy. This allows the client to come to their own conclusions without any form of persuasion whilst being in a safe and confidential setting.
