My commitment to volunteer work is reflected in my involvement with various organizations, such as Habibi Works, an intercultural maker space for education, empowerment and encounters for refugees and Greek locals, and Childrens Museum of Thessaloniki, where I have been involved in creative and educational activities with children. This varied experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of psychology and the ability to provide effective support to a wide range of clients.
Moreover, I hold language certifications in English and German, that enhance my ability to connect with a broader range of clients.
My basic principles as psychologist and as a human is acceptance, respect, cultural awareness, solidarity, and empathy, and I consistently follow a client-centered approach.
The approach I follow in my sessions is Systemic Psychotherapy. This approach focuses on exploring and understanding the interpersonal and relational dynamics within a person's life and how these dynamics impact their mental and emotional well-being. It emphasizes the importance of considering the individual within the context of their family, social networks, and broader systemic influences. The individual is directly influenced by their environment and the way they connect and relate whithin it. So, the goal of our sessions is to identify and address together patterns of your behavior and communication that may contribute to some emotional difficulties and to find answers, also together, promoting healthier, more functional relationships. Individual-, Couple- or Family-Therapy are provided.
